How to use the Scheduling feature to create your workplace weekly roster.
You can manage your workplace roster using the Scheduling feature.
Notes:
- On your Weekly Schedule you can manage your employee's shifts to accommodate your workload and weekly budget.
- All shifts will already be displayed for your staff that have a fixed schedule. The employee's who are displaying blank should be your casual staff who will be required to schedule.
- A Key setting with Scheduling is what to do with Unscheduled hours. If you would like to separate unscheduled hours to an additional pay code you will have to Enable Unscheduled Hours in System Settings - General.
To use Scheduling, follow these steps:
- Click on Scheduling, then choose Scheduling.
- Select the Week or Day you wish to schedule.
- Tick Include the following week if you wish to load two weeks.
- Select the Department you wish to view.
- Choose to either Sort by First Name, Last Name, Department Name.
- Click the green LOAD button to view your Schedule.
- To edit pre-filled expected shifts select the orange pencil icon on the shift.
- To add shifts to your schedule you will need to select the green plus icon on the date you wish to schedule the employee to work.
- You will then have to input the employee's Start time and Finish Time of the shift. It will automatically apply the employee's default daily rule for that day though it can be changed here if the employee needs to have different Overtime/Lunch Break calculations to their shift etc.
