Cost Centres in Workforce TNA are used to allocate worked hours to specific codes, helping businesses track labour costs across different jobs, departments, or projects. These are also referred to as Work Codes on time clocks.
Cost Centres allow you to manage and report on where employee hours are being spent. They can be linked to payroll systems or used for internal cost tracking and reporting. Each Cost Centre has a unique numeric or alphanumeric code and can be assigned to specific employees, locations, or time clocks.
Notes:
- Cost Centres must be set up in the Workforce TNA system before they can be used on time clocks or apps.
- They can be customised per location and employee, and even renamed to suit your organisation’s terminology.
- The system prioritises Cost Centre selection in the following order: User Selection > Time Clock/Location > Employee Default.
