The Clocking tab in the Employee profile allows you to configure how an employee clocks in and out of work, including device access methods and time clock settings.
Clocking Methods & Settings
Here are the available options and what they do:

Clock Password
Enables a numeric password for the employee to clock in/out. If this box is ticked, the employee already has a password set. -
RFID Card
Employees can use an RFID card (e.g., badge, sticker, bracelet) to clock in/out. Enter the card number in the field, excluding any leading zeros.
Example: If the card reads0006749845, enter6749845. -
User Type
- Normal User (default): Standard access.
- SuperAdmin: Locks the device menu. Access requires SuperAdmin credentials when pressing the Menu key.

Biometric Data Available
Displays if biometric data (e.g., face or fingerprint templates) is stored in Workforce TNA. -
Employee Portal Access
Grants access to request leave or update personal details via:- Workforce TNA Kiosk
- My Workforce TNA App
- Online Portal

Two-Factor Authentication
If enabled, the “Remember Me” checkbox appears for added login security. -
Web Clocking
Allows the employee to clock in/out via the ATS Employee Portal. You must enter a password for access. -
App Clocking
Allows clocking via the My Workforce TNA mobile app. A password is required. -
Restrict Web Clocking to Location
Limits clocking to specific network locations. Configure IP addresses under System Settings > Locations. The employee must be connected to the assigned network to use Web Clocking.
How to Add or Edit Clocking Settings
- Go to EMPLOYEES
- Select the Clocking tab
- Enable the required clocking options
- Click SAVE
- Click REFRESH EMPLOYEE DATA ON CLOCKS to apply changes to the device
- (Optional) Click CLEAR BIOMETRIC DATA to remove stored biometric data from the time clock
