An RDO (Rostered Day Off) is a paid day of leave that employees accrue by working a small amount of additional time each day.
Rather than receiving overtime pay for those extra minutes, the time accumulates until the employee has earned a full shift — which they then take as a paid day off.
RDO Settings:
RDO settings needs to be activated if you're planning on using RDO calculations throughout Workforce TNA.
Hours Cap:
This limits an employee to bank a restricted amount/hours of RDO/TOIL/TIL.
RDO Earnt Column Name:
Custom name for RDO Earnt column on time sheets.
RDO Balance Column Name:
Custom name for the RDO Balance on time sheets.
Auto Balance Hours:
Auto Balance works if an employee has worked shorter than the expected shift which it will then take hours out of RDO Earnt and transfer the hours to their Base to make up the short hours.
Allow Negative RDO Balance:
This will allow an employee to take an RDO and their Balance will display as a negative number.
RDO Leave Accrues RDO Earnt:
When an employee takes an RDO it will still accrue their RDO earnt.
Apply Cost Centres to RDO:
Enables Cost Centre job tracking on RDO Earnt Hours.
Show RDO columns on Timesheets
As Required - columns will only show once employee has accrued RDO for that pay period.
Always - Columns always show on time sheets.
Never - Columns do not show on time sheets.
