ELMO HR

Paysync is now fully integrated with ELMO HR, enabling seamless synchronisation of employee data between ELMO’s Employee Management system and your WorkforceTNA application.

This integration streamlines employee onboarding and ongoing employee management for your organisation.

Step 1: Set Up API Credentials in ELMO

1. Create a Security Profile

  1. Log in to your ELMO Administration portal.
  2. Navigate to Security Profiles.
  3. Click Add Profile and select API Access Manager as the profile type.

  4. Enter a name and description for the profile, then click Save.

2. Assign the Security Profile to a User

  1. Open the Users tab.
  2. Search for and select the user who will act as the API Access Manager.
  3. Click Save.

  4. Under the Summary tab, click Confirm to finalise the assignment.

3. Verify API Access Manager Permissions

Ensure the assigned user can access the API Credentials Management Console, but only with the necessary permissions (primarily the ability to revoke credentials).

Step 2: Generate API Credentials in ELMO

A user with Company Admin permissions must:

  1. Open the API Management console.
  2. Generate new API credentials.
  3. Securely record the following values:
    • Client ID

    • Client Secret

Step 3: Configure the Paysync Integration

  1. Log in to your Paysync account.
  2. Go to Settings → Human Resources.

  3. Select the Application section, choose ELMO, and click Set up your ELMO Account.

Step 4: Enter Your API Credentials

  1. Enter your Client ID and Client Secret obtained from ELMO.
  3. Click Authorise Now to complete the connection.

Step 5: Configure Data Sync

After authorising:

  1. Navigate to the Settings tab.

  2. Set the preferred direction of data flow between Paysync and ELMO.

Once enabled, employee data will automatically synchronise whenever a new employee is created or existing records are updated.

 

 

Also Required: Creating a WebHook within ELMO.

Make the first attribute is 'apikey' and the value matches the Paysync API Key.
Request Method is set to POST
Enable all event types = employement_details.modified, user.created, user.modified, personal_contact_details.created and personal_contact_details.modified is enabled.
