If you've been working on a schedule and need to start over, Workforce TNA provides a quick way to clear all manual changes using the Reset function. This is useful when you want a clean slate without having to delete each shift individually.
What Does Resetting a Schedule Do?
- Removes all manually added or edited shifts from the calendar.
- Restores the schedule to its original state based on the employee’s assigned Daily Rules.
- Does not affect approved leave, public holidays, or system-generated shifts unless they were manually modified.
⚠️ Important: Resetting cannot be undone. Make sure you want to clear all manual changes before proceeding.
Step-by-Step: Resetting a Schedule
- Go to the Scheduling screen.
- Select the relevant Pay Period and Department.
- Click the green LOAD button to view the current schedule.
- Click the RESET button.
- Click 'Yes, do it!' to Confirm
🧹 This will immediately remove all manual changes from the schedule.
After Resetting
- You can begin re-adding shifts manually or allow the system to prefill shifts based on Daily Rules.
- You can re-approve the schedule and notify employees once updates are complete.
