This article provides an example of a 7.6 hr salary or attendance daily rule for employees that get set hours per shift, without needing to log their times on a time clock device or via the My Workforce TNA app.
Notes:
- Daily Rules need to be allocated to a Schedule to be assigned to Employees.
- Requires the Expected tickbox to auto-apply hours to timesheets.
To Create a Salary Shift, follow these steps:
- Click Shift Setup
- Click Daily Rules
- Click Add (in top right)
- Name the Daily Rule - example 'Salary 7.6hrs)
- Tick Expected?
- Scroll to the bottom
- Toggle Rule Type = Attendance
- In field below 'With no Clocking, Base Hrs Equal' input 07:36
This will apply 7.6 hours to timesheets without the employee needing to log times
- Select Save Daily Rule
- Click Time Bands Tab
- Select the correct Pay Code in the dropdown box
This is the payroll code that will apply to timesheets for 7.6 hours
- Input 07:36 in Standard Leave Hours.
- Click Save Time Bands.
this will apply 7.6 Leave hours to timesheets when adding leave entry or leave requested by employee.
